Competitive Calls for new partners for IST projects

Fed4FIRE: 1st Fed4FIRE Competitive Call for additional Project Partners

Fed4FIRE, a project currently active in the Seventh Framework programme of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities contributing to the creation of the European research area and to innovation (2007-2013) requires the participation of new partners to carry out certain tasks within the project.

In particular the tasks pertain to the:

A) Execution of innovative experiments that demonstrate technological expertise, scientific novelty and quality in the area of Future Internet (e.g. domains such as wired and wireless IP networks, cloud computing, software defined networks and innovative Internet services)
B) Inclusion of additional experimentation facilities to enlarge the scope and reach of the Fed4FIRE federation as well as enhance the service offer.

Future Internet Public Private Partnership
XIFI: pre-announcement of open call for additional infrastructures

Project XIFI is planning to expand its infrastructure capacity offering, increase the diversity of service capabilities and improve its geographic coverage through an open call. A significant amount of funding is available to support this expansion of the infrastructure through this competitive call. The open call is expected to open in September, and an information day and workshop is planned for the 26th September 2013 to be held in Brussels. Please stay tuned for further details.

Project XIFI is the capacity building project of the Public-Private-Partnership on Future Internet (FI-PPP) in the context of the Framework Programme 7 for Research and Technology Development of the European Union.
